This clip (6:11) introduces KKL-JNF’s Hula Lake Park visitors center. With no fewer than 500 million birds passing through yearly on their migratory path, the Hula Valley is one of the most prominent bird-watching sites in the entire world. It was one the KKL-JNF’s first and largest rehabilitation projects, beginning with the draining of murky, malaria-ridden swamps in the 1950s and culminating with the flourishing tourist attraction of today, filled with wildlife, vegetation, and immense eco-diversity.
