Created by the Limmud Chavruta Program for Shavuot, this 4-page long document contains sources that explore the concept of pilgrimage in Judaism, including traditional Jewish texts, quotes from modern Israeli poets and thinkers, and even photographs. Accompanied by thought-provoking discussion questions, these texts reflect upon « the relationship between time and space, history and holiness, and the spiritual significance of the Land of Israel. » Designed to be studied with a partner or in a group, this resource was created by Limmud, an ambitious and passionate volunteer-run organization dedicated to Jewish learning in all its variety.
